Well, Like I said before, here's a few pictures of the pieces of armour I intend to accumulate over the next year or two (Not much use if I can't fight)

Ideally I would have these Blackened with brass edging because it's really sexy :P




Klappvisor Bascinet with aventail


Churburg breastplate (The black one)


Nice simple arms. Would probably add a rondell to the outer elbow.


Nice simple lightweight legs. Again with a rondell on the outer knee. These would of course be worn over padded chausses.


Pauldrons. Possibally a big bigger, would have a decent amount of padding underneath. Yay cripple! :P


A drilled faceplate for the Bascinet. This is for doing WMA stuff with rebated steel swords. This faceplate allows face thrusts with steel ;)


Greaves that cover the back and front of the lower leg. Just my personal preference for aesthetic reasons.


Nice fingered gauntlet. Fuck basket hilts and sod to clamshells. :P


Sallet and bevor for slightly later period sexiness. Would have a sallet more similar to the one below.


Pointier and articulated = teh sex.

All of this will go on top of a gambeson tied on with points, padded chausses and period shoes. Maybe sabatons at a later date, most likely scale. Mmm german.

Legs will either be tied to the gambeson via points or a purpoint.

So yeah, all of that probably gives you a good idea of what I intend to look like when I can fight again :P

Weapons of choice will be Pollaxe (duh), Spear, Ahlspiess, Arming sword, dagger, buckler and mace.
